I am an Olympia home cook, caterer, and writer. I spend much of my time trolling for recipes, shopping for groceries, fixing meals, and talking about food. It only makes sense that the thirty spare minutes I have a few times a week should be spent writing about food. I was born with a desire to belly up to the table and it remains a piece of family lore that, as a child, I would tuck into my dessert with abandon, oblivious to the circle of staring family members, all of them muffling giggles as I -no doubt noisily-tore through whatever my mom had baked up. I still love mealtime, except now I am the cook and baker, so I try to do my mother proud.
